You’d think with that title I’d come back with something like “That’s what she said”, but no, not today. (although it does make me snicker a bit)
I am taking these post directly from my friend Turbulence Training guru Craig Ballantyne, who recently posted these questions that really got me thinking. Maybe they will get you thinking too…
- Why do you continue to make short term decisions that ruin your chances of long-term success?
- Why do you continue to eat junk when you want to lose fat?
- Why do you watch so much TV when you know you should be exercising?
- Why do you hide your goals when you know that support will help you succeed?
You have to accept that a little short-term pain will allow you long-term success.
I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the above questions. Please leave some love below (that’s what she said).

Question #3 gets me the most. All those shows taped on the DVR, gotta sit an watch them sometime, Gotta find a solution like move the DVR to the office where the treadmill is and only watch taped shows while on the eliptical or treadmill…. Hey not a bad idea, maybe I’ll get a 2nd box…..

Support is a funny thing. I have found either of the two to be true:
* Either you tell people of your plan to exercise and lose weight and folks are jealous and don’t offer much support and never compliment on how good you look.
* Or, you are afraid of sharing with people of your plan to exercise and lose weight, since you might fall short of your goals or take longer than expected to reach your goal. Insecurities start to sink in when you don’t get positive support and feedback from others.
It’s kind of a mixed bag…
I try to watch tv and exercise at the same time. Those are some great questions.
