image007Here is something that the scientific community has known for a long time:  eating less extends life.

But eating less sucks right?  Keep reading…

Caloric restriction (eating less calories) leading to longer life has been extensively tested and proven in fuzzy things that don’t live all that long – like rats.  As a matter of fact caloric restriction extended the  life of some lab rats by as much as 40%.

(As if being a lab rat wasn’t sucky enough – these guys didn’t get to eat much either.)

I Screwed Up (yet again)

Well I’ve done it again.

Due to a few extenuating circumstances (not the least of which was me co-coordinating my own schedule – I should never be in charge of that) I have had to postpone the start of the 6 Week Body Transformation Program.

C’mon baby, finish what you started

Sometimes, when I’m  just about spent after a workout I like to do what are called "finishers".  As they name implies, they finish you off. (not like that you perv)

Generally a "finishers" are a small sequence of moves that will take you from almost "Oh man I am wiped" to "I think I’m gonna hurl".

Oh yeah, my kinda fun.

Finishers are especially effective in fat loss programs as they add a serious metabolic boost to the workout the effects of which can last for up to 48 hours.

Pig for Brains

If eating this meant I would be as ripped as the guy in 300 (Gerard Butler), as good looking as Brad Pitt, as rich as Bill Gates and as smart as Albert Einstein I would still not eat it.

Mmmm,  gravy…

 

Aside from being insanely gross, it is also really high in cholesterol.

Well maybe if you served it with peanut butter. Nah, probably not.
