Not a carb was found lurking near fit, plump or slim.
The dumbbells were stacked on the racks with great care
Just waiting for clients to pick up a pair.

Leaving Las Vegas

Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas on someone else’s dime. My wife Denyse had gotten roped into a timeshare presentation, with one of the free gifts being 3 days in Vegas. So we figured what the hell.

I have only been to Vegas once, and it was about 12 years ago. I heard things were different but…

Turns out I am not a Vegas type of guy.

I don’t drink, gamble or smoke. So that doesn’t really leave me much except of course for the prostitutes.

Just kidding.

Consistency Counts

As trite and cliche as it might sound, consistency is the greatest determinant of success in fitness, and probably life too.  Out of all the clients I have trained, the ones that have been the most successful are not the ones who worked out the hardest, or even the ones that were genetically gifted.  It is always the ones that were the most consistent.
