Voter Bonus

In 1976 I was in kindergarten. It was the first election I can distinctly remember.

My school had set up a mock election, and all the classes got to vote. I of course voted for Carter.  It made sense to vote for Carter, he had to be the best guy as we shared a last name.  Perfectly good reasoning for a 5 year old.

I don’t remember who won in the school’s election, but I do know who won the real one.

Good For *Any* Age

I have been working with this client for about 6 months now. Because he is a bit on the shy side let’s just call him Cliff.  Cliff has made tremendous progress and is without a doubt the most consistent client I have ever seen.

Cliff and I were training the other day when another client noted that he looked good or his age.

What? Good for his age? Are you kidding?

I felt compelled to correct the well intentioned client. I pointed out that Cliff looks good for *ANY* age.

Bobble Headed

In what is without a doubt the most unexpected and unique birthday gift I have ever received, I have been immortalized in bobble head- Yes I have been bobble headed.

Not a bad representation, the head to body ratio is actually pretty accurate.

But I can’t help thinking it also resembles veteran actor Mandy Pantinkin in his underwear.

Now I can’t decide what I find more disturbing: the thought of Mandy Patinkin in his skivvies or the fact I may resemble Mandy Patinkin in his skivvies.
