Her Clothes Are Falling Off

Monday, November 14th, 2011

After a few short months with Carter Fitness, Kellie’s clothes are now all falling off of her. It’s true.

I apologized to her profusely, but that is a KNOWN side effect of dropping 30 pounds in less than 3 months while following our fitness and fat loss program.

Watch the video below and meet Kellie, who went from “dragging” through her day and HIDING from cameras and to flaunting her new body and feeling more energetic and more confident with every passing moment.

Things That Don’t Matter–People Who Do

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

This post has nothing to do with fitness, health, fat loss or any of that stuff. But if you’re anything like me, I have a feeling that you’ll agree the message in this post and video is very powerful and can help put life (your life) in perspective.

So let me ask you a question…

What do you value most in life?

What matters most to you?

Money?

Success?

Friends?

Family?

Freedom?

Being right?

Ego?

Image?

Status?

Me and an older woman

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011

It’s not what you think…I wanted to introduce you to my friend and female fat loss over 40 expert, Shawna K.

I interviewed her when we were in Las Vegas (working , I swear) and she shares her top three tips on what women over 40 need to consider when trying to get in the best shape of their life.

I find it interesting that we tend to agree on many things, no matter what your age, some fitness and fat loss principles apply.

Check out the video here:

My Top 5 Questions About Menopause and Fitness (guest post)

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011

I have a special understanding of the issues facing people who are overweight. I have been struggling with my weight most of my life.  I am in fact an expert in the field.  But one thing I can never FULLY understand are the unique issues facing women (yes, I am not a woman and in all likelihood will never bee a woman.)

So I turn to a pro…

My good friend and female fat loss expert, Shawna K, has such a passion for women in and approaching their 40’s. Lucky for me that I’ve known her for several years and she’s willing to share her experience with my readers. Below is a compilation of the most common questions she gets regarding women, menopause, fitness and fat loss.

What It Takes

Monday, September 20th, 2010

Many often wonder what it takes to change their body.  The answer is simple really.

But before I tell you…

Below is a video I came across the other day.  It is the story of a guy named Ben who one day decided he had had enough and committed to changing his life.

I have never met Ben, but I have been a fat guy so I found his story and video truly inspiring (and I absolutely HATE running).

Labor (Day) Pains

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

labor-day Like most Americans,  I really do not have a good grasp on the real meaning of Labor Day.

Like most Americans all I really know is the bottom line:  We get Monday off.

Yes, it all boils down to a 3 day weekend.

So in an effort to be more patriotic, conscientious and to honor the TRUE meaning of Labor Day I have decided to take action.

I am putting the “Labor” back in Labor Day – bootcamp style.

Monday morning at 9:30am I will be coaching a FREE bootcamp for any and all who wish to attend.

Be The Pig

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

FictionThere are many things is life that can be reduced to either fiction or fact.

Here is an example of fiction:  It is too late for you to change your body and your health because you are (pick any) too old, too tired, too busy, too many kids, work weird hours, too much of a giant wuss etc.

factBut here is a truth:  Nothing is more powerful than the human mind.  If you believe it, you can make it happen.  I have seen it more times than I can count.

And to that end I say be the pig.

Tuesday, August 10th, 2010

wc_flush_toilet_tshirt-p235140987162130122uwjq_400 Hey gang,

I’m not sure if you have noticed, but I have been quiet (email wise) of late.  That’s because I have been working on a bunch of super-secret projects.  2 projects are for other trainers, to help them get better results with their clients (ala my 6 week transformation.)

I have a MASSIVE project I can’t tell you about yet BUT…

ONE thing I have been working on is just for you.

Now you know me, never satisfied (insert “that’s what she said” joke.)  So I am always tweaking and testing to try to get better results.
