The HUGE Mistake You Are Currently Making

Homer Simpson D'oh I am sorry to say that many (not all) of your are making a mistake right now.  A HUGE mistake in fact.

Now we all make mistakes, but this one can easily be avoided (and I’m going to tell you how.)

So what’s the mistake?

Doing nothing. Inaction. WAITING…

Waiting for the timing to be perfect, for the stars to align and your Mercury to be in retrograde or some equally ridiculous shiz before you actually take action.

This applies to whether you are trying to get you fat butt in shape or if you are trying to make a million dollars.  It’s all the same.

I’m Not Above Bribery

There are 2 things you should know about me:

1) I Hate Losing.

2) I’m Not Above Bribery.

Based upon some recent events these are 2 very important facts to keep in mind.  So let me catch you up.

Earlier this week I had a conversation with a good friend of mine named Brett Riesenhuber.  Brett lives in Northern California, and like me he owns a high end personal training studio (called Prime Physique) and runs several bootcamps.  Interestingly, our “significant others” have the same name too.

Monkey Business

Here is something that the scientific community has known for a long time:  eating less extends life.

This has been extensively proven in things that don’t live all that long – like rats.  As a matter of fact caloric restriction (eating less calories) extended the  life of some lab rats by as much as 40%.

But what does this mean for us humans.  Turns out that is a much harder thing to study.  We just live to damn long.

So where to turn?  Monkeys of course.

Closing Out 2008

So this is most likely this last email of the year. I had some grandiose plans of writing a “12 Days of Fitness” guide to surviving the holidays, but I have been so slammed with the success of our new 2XR Program that I just never got around to it.

Plus I could only come up with a few good suggestions and please, 12 days? Really? 12?
