Listen to Yoda

Friday, April 30th, 2010

badgeThis weekend I am in beautiful Anaheim California for a Fitness Summit. I will be speaking to over 300 of the country’s (and the world’s) top trainers – which is obviously a HUGE honor. Sure I’m nervous but I’m also awesome so I’ll be fine.

In addition to that I have the distinction of having the largest name badge. I am the Flava Flav of name badges (Google him, that’s a semi-funny joke). And you know what they say about guys with large name badges… nothing really.

Goal’d Mettle

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Ok, the title is a stretch.

I intended to imply that you should strive to reach your goal, and have the fortitude to persevere. (Google “mettle”)

Mmmm….. doughnuts…..

The title of the article is“ Why Exercise Won’t Make You Thin”, obviously meant to get people all riled up.  And boy did it.  Do a Google search and you will see a bevy of experts from trainers to doctors saying the article full of crap.

Just For You: An Ethical Bribe

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Bribery has such a negative connotation. Maybe because it is a tactic usually reserved for crooks and politicians.

But let’s face it bribery is part if what made America great.  Most politicians would be jobless without bribery, and we certainly do not want to add anything to America’s current unemployment rate. Without bribery many otherwise law abiding "businessmen" would have to deal with time consuming and annoying legal entanglements which could take time from their olive oil business.
